Osaka Trip with Baby

Our last stop – Osaka! From Tokyo we took bullet train to Osaka and we stayed in Namba. Compared to Tokyo, I prefer Osaka as it is an advanced city but not so crowded like Tokyo.

Just for recap: 10- Day Japan Itinerary

Day 1-4: Kyoto Trip and Nara trip

Day 4-6: Kanazawa Trip

Day 6-8: Tokyo Trip

Day 8-10: Osaka Trip / Depart

We checked-in to Red Roof Hotel in Namba and I’m so glad we did because it was very convenient. A lot of attractions were near there. The famous Glico man is just a few minutes walk and shopping district is just few stones away. If you love shopping and food trippin, Namba is the best place for you.

You can easily spend the whole day walking in this shopping place. It’s so huge!

Me posing in Dotonburi River. Along the river you can find lots of shopping malls, souvenir shops, pharmacies, and eating places. You can also ride a boat to explore the river. We didn’t tried that maybe next time.

Next we visited the famous Kuromon Market where you can find just anything. Souvenirs, seafood, fruits flowers and groceries.

Fresh peaches while walking 🙂 yum!

Fresh Urchin Sashimi! Tasted like the sea😋[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[

Summer’s first happy meal in Japan❤️

Of course do not forget to eat takoyaki in Osaka. You can find it almost everywhere around Namba. This is my favourite Japanese food yum yum😋😋😋

The best takoyaki I’ve had in my life!!

Our last stop for our last night was UMEDA SKY BUILDING. This is a state-of-the-art Floating garden observatory is in the middle of two Umeda sky buildings. You can see 360deg the view of Osaka.

Osaka City At Night

Though it’s cool to see the city lights at night, I thought it would have been better if we went in daytime to appreciate more what Osaka looks like.

We only had 2 days here so we didn’t visit some of the must see attractions like the Osaka castle. Maybe the main reason was that we spend a lot of our time shopping. (Don’t forget to buy lots of cheap quality Japan watches for your loved ones!!)

Oh yes before I forget if you are in Osaka and you love electronics/ gadgets like us, don’t forget to visit NIPPONBASHI DEN DEN’s TOWN or they called it “electronic town”. It is known for its cheap electronics and appliances stores. We scored a really cheap mini iPad yay!

It’s walking distance from Namba but it can be confusing so make sure you have a map with you.

So this wrapped up our Japan Trip!

Our hearts are filled with gratitude to be able to see and experience Japan and of course our tummies are filled with beef bowls, takoyakis, sashimis and a lot of matcha ice cream too!!

Bye bye see you in our next adventure.

Hope this is helpful:)

Though being with a toddler in all my trips are challenging, it is possible and it can be done. The the joy they can bring is just immeasurable .

The benefits of bringing your child to nature trip are amazing! These books motivates me a lot when it comes to the importance of outdoor play and open-air learning :
